Community Resiliency in Greene County

On October 31st, 2021, ARCH volunteered with a spooky craft table at Haunted Stanardsville, a local Halloween celebration in Greene County.

We set up, unsure of how many attendees would come out in the cold and the rain. We prepared just under 70 spooky craft kits and to our surprise, we completely ran out of materials.

This event offered insight into how much we all need moments of joy and relaxation as we continue to survive through this pandemic. Both children and adults crowded around our table, eager to embrace a quiet creative moment.

It was clear that this small community has persevered through the pandemic by coming together and embracing whatever limited resources they have. That is resiliency. And ARCH is proud to facilitate in the social-emotional recovery of those who need it.
