Ways to help |
EMS ProviderVolunteering as an EMS provider with the CARS is probably very different from any volunteering you have ever done. Volunteering as a patient care provider takes a significant amount of time, requires uncommon dedication, and can involve significant emotional stress.Administrative, Fundraising, and Support VolunteersThe hard work of these individuals brings in needed funding, operates a busy administrative office, and supports the logistical needs of a complex organization. Volunteering opportunities for support members can be tailored to your interests, abilities, and schedule. |

How you help | We are always in need of both medical volunteers and those who can assist us with administrative support. |

About us | CARS is a volunteer rescue squad with over 100 active members. The organization is headed operationally by Chief Virginia Leavell and administratively by President Jon Howard. We are a member of the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads assigned to District I. |
