| About us | The Community Foundation was established in 1967 as an engine for positive change in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson and Orange. We work with local residents, non-profits, as well as public and private organizations to facilitate philanthropy and improve the quality of life in our area.
