|Ways to help||
Help Community Bikes refurbish bikes for community members in need!We need all the help we can get with bike repairs! We welcome all skill levels, as we have a variety of projects. Due to our COVID-19 shop protocols, we can't host volunteers inside the shop, but we have tents, tools, and stands set up in the parking lot. Masks are required! We provide hand sanitizer and also have masks on hand for volunteers.

Bikes, Parts, & Gear Donations
Cville Community Bikes (CCB) needs help in the form of bike donations! We have made it through the past 18 months thanks to the generous support of the community, and we are running low on bike donations at the moment. If you have spare bikes/parts in your garage, we would love to refurbish them and help more community members get on bikes.
When you donate your bike, it is either refurbished and given away to an adult or child, or refurbished and sold as a revenue source to help CCB purchase the parts needed for our free bike and repair programs. Approximately 70% of our revenue, used to support our free bike programs, comes from refurbished bike sales.
We accept all bikes, parts, and gear donations. All donations are tax-deductible. Donations can be dropped by the shop at 917 Preston Ave Ste D during our open hours: Tues/Thurs 11-5, Fri/Sat 11-3.
Thank you for helping us keep biking accessible in Charlottesville!
