How you help	We are always looking for new volunteers who can post bond at the ICE office in Richmond. Note: you must be a US citizen or Legal Permanent Resident to post bond. Posting bond can be a nearly all-day process, as the volunteer will arrive in Richmond in the morning to deliver paperwork and then the process can take until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. We are deeply grateful for the volunteers who make the liberation of our neighbors possible.

About us	Cville Immigrant Freedom Fund (CIFF) is a non-profit organization that works with families in paying for a legal representation and ICE bond. CIFF also posts bond on behalf of those we support because, if a detainee's family member is not a U.S. citizens or legal permanent resident, they are prohibited from posting their loved one's bond. In 2020, CIFF directly assisted 44 people through bond and legal support, with an indirect impact on more than 200 family members, many of them children or elderly parents.
