| About us | Kiwanis International was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1915. There are over 350,000 Kiwanians and more than 600,000 K-Family members in 84 countries around the world. KI’s current worldwide service project, in conjunction with UNICEF, aims to Eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (MNT) from the face of the earth. This project follows KI’s previous successful project, also with UNICEF, of eliminating Iodine Deficiency Disorders (IDD), the leading preventable cause of intellectual disabilities, worldwide. |
