Ways to help |
SPECIAL NEEDS SESSIONSThese sessions support additional goals within the horsemanship class framework. Sessions are planned with the trainer and parents or guardians to address individual special needs for the Rancher. We have had much success supporting kids with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and working through grief and loss. We have 2 or more camps during the year. Our families with special needs kids and their siblings as well as children from the community are invited to attend. This gives us a diverse and inclusive experience for our kids. You will partner with one child and one miniature horses to complete a horsemanship lesson which will have a spiritual application and devotional theme which has been developed with your team. |

About us | Our ministry is Biblically based equine assisted learning. We teach basic unmounted horsemanship and help children to develop a friendship with one or more of our miniature horses. These lessons are the tools we use to help kids to reach developmental milestones or reduce stress and anxiety, develop confidence, improve attention and a myriad of goals as planned with parents and guardians. All of our services are provided at NO COST thanks to our generous donors! Our program is designed to be accessible to children with all levels of need. Private Sessions are designed with individual goals. Group sessions and camps have Christian programming and basic unmounted horsemanship lessons. Children with all levels of abilities are integrated into our camps. This provides a rich opportunity for socialization. Special needs sessions support specific additional goals within the horsemanship class framework. Sessions are planned with the session leader and parents or guardians to address individual special needs for the Rancher.
