For even greater impact, join our Board of Directors, which guides the direction of the chapter, ensures access to resources, and advocates in the community to advance NOW’s mission.

How you help

Without volunteers, we don’t exist! Charlottesville NOW is an all-volunteer organization. Volunteers serve on our Board of Directors, do the work in our committees, create our programming and carry out actions to make a difference in laws and minds.

As part of the largest organization of feminist grassroots activists in the United States, Charlottesville NOW is dedicated to an intersectional multi-issue and multi-strategy approach to women’s rights. We take action to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, and eliminate discrimination.
