| About us | VIA provides evidence-based services that address the core symptoms of autism. Our programs and services are built around the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and employ professionals in the fields of behavior analysis, childhood special education, speech-language therapy, clinical psychology, and occupational and physical therapies. VIA’s services enable our students and clients to participate more meaningfully in family and community life and to develop skills necessary for greater independence and success in less restrictive environments. VIA operates three core programs for children, adolescents, and adults: The James C. Hormel School is a full-time, year-round day school providing education and clinical programs proven to address the core symptoms of autism spectrum disorder. Outpatient Behavioral Services provides evidence-based behavioral therapies to address a continuum of needs exhibited by children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Depending upon a client’s needs, individual therapy is provided in the home, community, and/or in VIA’s clinic. In addition to intensive behavioral interventions, OBS provides a range of psychological diagnoses, evaluations, and therapies. VIA's Adult Services program offers a year-round, full-time day program, featuring community coaching, volunteering opportunities, independent living skills development, and fitness and recreation. |
