Food Justice Network volunteers may be asked to help with campaigns, outreach or special research related to our advocacy.

City Schoolyard Garden volunteers can help prepare and distribute Harvest of the Month crops, or help with special projects in the gardens.

Volunteers help in packing and distributing food.

Schedule BGP presentations with area organizations and businesses, coordinate with trained speakers, perform follow-up, track and report results. Involves phone calling, emailing, and computer work.

Periodically staff the BGP table at local events and venues to create awareness about and support of the garden project by talking it up, disseminating literature, encouraging sign-ups for newsletters and donations to help build the garden, and reporting back results. Anyone who is interested in volunteering at The Paramount — university students to seniors — is encouraged to become involved. The Paramount can use your help with a variety of volunteer opportunities, such as ushering, serving on committees, helping with artist hospitality, and assisting with mailings.
