There are many ways for individuals of all ages to volunteer time and talent, including as a volunteer for one-time events such as community events or work days, in the woods as a Mentor-in-Training, on one of our Board Committees or as a Board Member.
CAT does a monthly food drive at one of the local pet stores on the first Saturday of each month from 10am-2pm, with three 2-hour volunteer shifts. This is a tabling event where we collect food or monetary donations and share information/answer questions about CAT that any store visitors may have.

Tasks include assembling and arranging furniture, stocking cabinets, making beds, light cleaning, and other household tasks to make the apartment “move-in ready”. Help staff and farmers out with ongoing projects (e.g. planting, cleaning, harvesting, organizing, etc). Please bring water, gardening gloves, sun-protection, and dress for the weather.
