Help out with donation receiving and carryout, as a department specialist, cashier, furniture assembly specialist, or in a variety of other roles — individuals and groups are welcome (shifts flexible based on your availability!) – (12+, youth 12 and 13 need to volunteer with a parent, guardian or older sibling)

The intention of the Care Committee is to extend compassion and generosity to IMCC members including those facing difficult personal situations. Caring for community members in times of need provides an opportunity both for those providing and receiving care, deepening our understanding of key teachings and practices. Pick up bags from our pantry on Angus Rd. and drive them over to our distribution site on Harris St. Once a month, from noon to 1:00pm, on a Mondays, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday.

Fill bags with the items from our shelves at the pantry. Usually a 1-2 hour commitment any time that suits you on the one day a month for which you volunteer. Children can volunteer with a responsible adult.

Finish filling the bags and give them out to the clients. 11am – 4pm, once a month on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday. Must be able to lift 30+ pounds.
