The hard work of these individuals brings in needed funding, operates a busy administrative office, and supports the logistical needs of a complex organization. Volunteering opportunities for support members can be tailored to your interests, abilities, and schedule.

Help improve the quality of care and quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families by carrying our message to elected officials at the federal, state and local levels. Communicate with elected officials via petitions, phone calls and other calls-to-action, participate in area events, and share your story.

Assist in the many administrative tasks needed to keep our office running smoothly, including special projects, mailings, collating and copying.

Help on an as-needed basis to assist with periodic projects, such as helping to man CASA information booths at community events.

If you enjoy working behind the scenes, consider becoming an office assistant volunteer at The Center. The position requires specific skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, and Word. The schedule can be flexible.

Serve on committees which develop programs and actions, increase membership and engage the community, and promote the chapter’s work through traditional and social media. For even greater impact, join our Board of Directors, which guides the direction of the chapter, ensures access to resources, and advocates in the community to advance NOW’s mission.
