Blue Ridge Abortion Fund
| About us | The Blue Ridge Abortion Fund provides grants to Virginians, or people traveling to Virginia, to reduce the cost of abortion, transportation, lodging, and other abortion related expenses. Callers contact our confidential voicemail, and one of our trained volunteers returns their call. Callers choose the clinic, and we don’t ask anything about how much money they have, their immigration status, or their reasons for their abortion. They tell us how much they need, and we work to fulfill their request. If a caller needs a particularly expensive procedure, or complicated logistical support, we activate our network of abortion funds and pool funds to provide the assistance required. Case by case, we fund abortions. |
