The Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, presented annually by the Virginia Chamber Music Foundation, was founded in 2000 by cellist Raphael Bell and violinist Timothy Summers, both products of the acclaimed Charlottesville High School Orchestra program. The mission of the Foundation is to increase the understanding and enjoyment of chamber music in Central Virginia and beyond.
